Market Day
Exclusive theme Party at the Real InterContinental Costa Rica
Minimum75 people
“Pura Vida” is a favorite Costa Rican expression which conveys many aspects of our daily life and culture.
How are you? “Pura Vida”
How did you sleep? “Pura Vida”
How was your day ? “Pura Vida”
It means “everything is cool”. This expression defines the Tico’s warmth and makes you feel at home right away.
This is why we created a day at the Farmer’s Green Market, “Dia del Mercado”, to generate this feeling of happiness and acceptance “Pura Vida” !
This fair occurs every Saturday in the main squares of all the village.
Here everyone comes out to meet and buy fresh products from the farmers who travel from the countryside.
When you enter the room of this celebration you will immediately feel the “Pura Vida” atmosphere of the market as the farmers welcomes you with a Guaro sour (the Costa Rica national liquor of sugar cane). The stands are filled with the freshest vegetables, fruits, flowers, bread and eggs. You will be able to sample products from these stands. There will also be other market staples such as the lottery vender calling.. Chance, loteria !
Marimba music will be play as the traditional folkloric dancers entertain as they help identify the products.
At the end, you felt a true Costa Rican experience. “Pura Vida!”
We recommend this theme party for a Lunch, a Casual Dinner or a welcome Party.
The price includes the decoration of the room (market stands), centerpieces, marimba music, a typical dance show, the buffet and a guaro sour at the entrance.
