Essence of Costa Rica standard

Day   1             Upon arrival in Costa Rica, transfer from the international airport to San José. Overnight accommodations at Britannia Hotels.

 

Day   2             At 6:00 a.m. departure from the Hotel to Tortuguero National Park.  Crossing the Braulio Carrillo National Park, we arrive to the Suerre Restaurant, located at Guapiles zone, where an excellent breakfast awaits for you. After breakfast we continue our way to  Caño Blanco pear to take the boat to Tortuguero. Upon arrival, lunch and in the afternoon tours to the Museum and Village of Tortuguero.  Dinner and overnight at Pachira Lodge.

 

Day   3             After breakfast, departure to Tortuguero National Park, exploration of the canals and the nature that surrounds you.  Dinner and lunch in the hotel. Lodging and overnight at Pachira Lodge.

 

Day   4             After breakfast, get ready to leave Tortuguero, the boat will lead you to the bus, that will take you to the to the Caribbean Coast, exactly in Puerto Viejo of Limon where the overnight accommodation will be in Azania Bungalows Hotel.

 

Day   5             Breakfast in Azania Bungalows, free day to enjoy the beaches and all the fun activities that the Puerto Viejo offers. Overnight accommodation in Azania Bungalows Hotel.

 

Day   6             After breakfast get ready to leave the coast, our next destination: Arenal zone… In our way to Arenal, we will make a stop for an  adrenaline dose in the Reventazon River Rafting. Then we continue our  road tripping  to Arenal, after a small lunch and rest.  Overnight accommodation in Arenal Paraiso Hotel.

 

Day   7             Breakfast in the hotel, next: tour to the Sky Tram & Sky Trek.  In the afternoon we get ready to visit Tabacón Hot Mineral Springs-SPA, where you will bathe in the natural pools that Arenal Volcano streams offers.  Dinner inside Tabacón Hot Mineral Springs-SPA and overnight at the Arenal Paraiso Hotel.

 

Day   8             After breakfast, departure with shuttle bus to the Central Pacific Coast.

Overnight at Parador Hotel.

 

Day   9            Breakfast in Parador Hotel.  Free day.   Manuel Antonio National Park entrance, enjoy and relax  in the wonderful white sand beaches.

                                   Overnight at Parador Hotel.

 

Day 10             Breakfast in Parador Hotel.  Departure to the South Pacific Coast, after 2 hours we arrived in the wild Dominical.   Lodging and overnight at the cozy and new Cuna del Angel Hotel.

 

Day 11            Breakfast in Cuna del Angel Hotel.  At 6:00 a.m.  get ready to departure for the tours at Corcovado National Park, after 1 hour on the road, we arrive at the Sierpe pear  to take the boat.  Cruise into the mangrove of Sierpe River and then along the ocean coast we arrive to Corcovado peninsula.   The Corcovado National Park holds about  70% of the costarrican flora and fauna. After the tour in  the park you will enjoy an  excellent lunch.  We will be back when the afternoon falls.

Overnight at the Cuna del Angel Hotel.

 

Day 12            Breakfast in Cuna del Angel Hotel.  Departure to the wild zone of Esterillos

                        Overnight at the Monterrey del Mar Hotel

 

 

Day 13             Breakfast in Monterrey del Mar Hotel.  Free day to enioy the beach, and all the activities that the hotel offers.

                        Overnight at the Monterrey del Mar Hotel

 

Day 14             Breakfast in the hotel. Departure San Jose, we will be arriving in the afternoon, overnight in Britania Hotel.

 

Day 15          Breakfast in Britannia Hotel.  Transfer from the Hotel to the International Airport of San José.
