Having in mind that “sustainable development” is the one that allows us to satisfy our current needs without jeopardizing the next generation’s right to satisfy their own, Costa Rica Top Tours makes its best effort in collaborating to minimize the negative impact that development brings on, focusing our initiatives towards a more sustainable development. In the past, sustainable has been a word related to greenery, ecological or environmentally friendly, however it has become more complex and refers not only to environmental aspects; nowadays, this terminology involves social responsibility, technological viability, as well as the economic profit.

Within the spectrum that comprises responsibility, there is the denouncing of extraction and illegal captivity of animals and plants, by our side, by our suppliers and by our tourists, always aiming to an “ecological conscience”. Needless to say, our company fights on illegal trading of flora and fauna by breaking the silence!

The bottom line is the understanding of the consecuences and opportunities of having a sustainable way of thinking on all our activities, looking forward to a win-win situation by being profitable while having social responsibility and definitely to use the natural resources rationally.
