Kayaking in Ballena National Park & Caves

Duration: 5 Hours

There is a 30 minutes drive from Dominical to the put in section in Piñuelas Beach. During this 23 km trip some stops are made where you can spot birds, monkeys, sloth's, etc…, all this along the most beautiful scenery of the Pacific Ocean and the exuberant vegetation of the coast. At the put in section we provide you the most professional and safety equipment. The bilingual guide will tell you about the national history of the park and give you a safety talk to make sure that you get what you expect out this trip. And then introduce you to an easy 1 ½ hour padding to the site where the caves are, by Ventanas Beach. Sometimes some of this caves are accessible, so than, will try to get through them. After this, will paddle back to Ventana Beach, where will set you up with some Fruits & Drinks, to revitalize you to surf the waves with your kayak, if you want to do it. Experience is not necessary, your tour guide will be more than wiling to introduce you to the techniques of how to do it. Otherwise, you can go and explore the caves along the beach and even walk trough them, if there is Low Tide. Done with Caving & Surfing its time to start to head back to Piñuelas Beach to get ready to return to Dominical.
